The purpose of this site is to share information on tests (destructive and shock load) done by Dr. Delbert L. Hall on hardware and materials used in stage and aerial rigging. This site contains the currents results of ongoing research and is not a finished presentation of findings. I make no claim to be a certified testing laboratory. The information on this site may be the results of a small sample of tests and are NOT conclusive evidence of anything – they are just my results. Take them for what they are. Any conclusions drawn from these results are yours and not are necessarily mine.
You should understand that the results from different lots of the same type of hardware/cable/etc. or similar products from different manufacturers might provide different results than the ones that I tested. The data on this site will be updated regularly as I conduct more and hopefully more insightful tests, but I will not attempt to test all sizes of any particular type of hardware or hardware from every manufacturer.
